This really, really old house

One of the great things about living in New England is the sense that history is just around every corner. I took a picture of the oldest house I've been able to find, so far. It is in Fairfield, CT and I think it is absolutely charming:

Want to guess how old it is?

Yup, about 1690. Fascinating, isn't it?

1 If I'm not mistaken, the actual oldest house in Connecticut is in Guilford.

2 And, it appears, I was right. I thought I remembered it from one of our visits. http://www.whitfieldmuseum.com/ 1639. Even more fascinating.
