The wonderful mint julep
As my thoughts turn southerly, as the days grow colder, I remember fondly my time living in New Orleans where I quaffed more than my fair share of mint juleps. PG Wodehouse, in 1929, had this to say about that lovely drink:

I've always liked that description and thought you might enjoy it, too.

Just tuned in and I am so sorry you and your family are again facing a painful challenge; sometimes life feels like an unending shower . My positive thoughts and wishes for a speedy and complete recovery will be directed toward you mom. Snuggle with the kiddies and think of the joy you and your children must give to her and keep the faith.
